Safari Lodges

Premium and mid-range lodges across the Greater Kruger.

Best for
  • Comparing two or three shortlisted lodges
  • Choosing a room type
  • Understanding reserve location

There are well over a hundred lodges spread across Kruger National Park, the Sabi Sand, Timbavati, Manyeleti, Klaserie, Balule, Kapama, Thornybush and MalaMala. The vast majority of guests choose between a relatively small core of camps that consistently deliver luxury, game viewing and service at the same level. Our lodge library prioritises that core.

Every lodge page follows the same structure so you can compare like with like: a hero gallery, an overview written by someone who has stayed there, an accommodation breakdown by room type, dining, daily activities, the wildlife you should realistically expect, photography conditions, nearby attractions and transfer options. A map fixes the lodge inside its reserve, and a related-lodges block surfaces alternatives at the same level.

We use lodge pages as the lowest level of the content graph. Each one belongs to a reserve, which belongs to Greater Kruger, which belongs to a South Africa Safari hub. That chain is reflected in breadcrumbs and in the JSON-LD schema, so search engines and AI overviews can model the relationship cleanly.

Pricing is given as a tier rather than a nightly rate, because rates change with season, room type and inclusions. Use the Request a Quote action on any lodge page for live availability and a tailored proposal.

Frequently asked questions

How many nights at one lodge is enough?+

Three nights at a single lodge is the sweet spot. Two nights is workable, one night never is — you'll lose half your time to check-in and check-out around a single afternoon and morning drive.
